Choosing a warranty for your new car

When you buy a new car, choosing the right warranty can help protect your car and make replacing parts a fast and inexpensive process. At Baierl Acura, we want to help you understand your warranty options.

The two most common types of warranties are powertrain and bumper-to-bumper. Powertrain typically covers your engine, transmission, and all the other parts that help your car move, i.e. the powertrain. Bumper-to-bumper offers the same coverage, but it also covers most of the other components of your car. This includes parts like the air conditioning system and radio.

Some components are not covered by these warranties. Parts of your car that are prone to wear, such as belts and seat fabric, are usually not covered. The car's body panels are also not covered.

Our team at Baierl Acura in Wexford, PA is happy to answer any of your warranty questions and help you make the best choice.
